Cocky Bird Re-Do
You may remember this guy...the "original reject" (a long story, but I'm over it!). I removed some of his overindulgent plume and sent him for a walk in the woods!

St. George Heron
A HUGE Blue Heron at St. George Island. This is Sherry's picture of the heron,
but I moved him from his original location on the sand, to be in front of the
surf. Out in the water you see the sandbar. The girls love to swim out to it,
but I always worry what's waiting in that deep water in between the shore and
the sandbar.

God Talking

When the chicks were little, if they saw streaming light like this.. they'd say God was talking (so you better be listening!) This was from a picture taken on a cloudy day at St. Marks.. trying out my new camera.
Eggs in Satin
The family wanted to know, "why" was the egg in satin? I can't say I know, only that I knew I wanted to paint it!
